Prostheses

Very many voice prostheses have been developed during the 30 years that they have been in use. Almost every one of these prostheses has some special feature that represents, or represented, progress in this field. Some prostheses were already on the market under different names or produced by other companies, but were effectively the same thing.

The following overview will provide you with the profiles of the voice prostheses that are currently available on the market today. This list is not exhaustive.
